Reporting to the Career Development Department Manager, the Internship Coordinator is in charge of placing eligible students to organizations and companies in their respective fields and securing a smooth internship experience for students, as well as companies. The Internship course is a graduation requirement for undergraduate students.



Responsibilities include:



• Securing internship placements for students

• Scheduling dates for activities and workshops for internship programs

• Scheduling internship dates (enrollment dates, submission deadlines, internship period)

• Contacting companies for internship placement and updating the database

• Communicating with students for any internship-related information and attending to students’ inquiries

• Conducting workshops for internship

• Conducting individual sessions with interns

• Coordinating with the registration and academic departments

• Coordinating with company supervisors and monitoring interns’ performance

• Collecting internship documents and maintaining internship records

• Following up on students performance and attendance throughout the internship period

• Reviewing students evaluation documents

• Updating management of the internship process flow on a regular basis

• Arranging internship-related communication materials

• Support on career events and programs (i.e. career fair, career conference, workshops, etc.)

• Analyzing internship data based on students/companies feedback at the end of each internship period

• Generating statistical report regarding the number of students undertook internship at the end each internship period

• Maintaining relations and visiting companies for career programs and events
