Key Functions:



The Area Sales Manager should supervise the daily sales operations within his assigned geographical area or trade channel. And to maintain good relations with current and potential clients and develop the best means to meet their demands.Maintain healthy stock in his Area enough to cover his sales targets on monthly and quarterly basis.Maintains excellent relations with his clients through providing professional customers service



Basic Duties:

1.Develops an efficient sales plan to achieve his forecasted sales target set by Management(for his designated area)

2.Suggests efficient means for sales performance optimization with his team

3.Suggests any changes to the Area sales strategy, policies and procedures to his direct supervisor

4.Ensures the proper implementation of the established sales policies and procedures

5.Coordinates and supervises the daily sales operations of his team within the specified area

6.Controls the sales team performance through the comparison of targeted vs. actual productivity per brand and customer and develop sales tactics to reach set targets

7.Motivate the Sales Representatives by coaching, advising or using other methods of motivations

8.Reduce the amount of sales returns from market by creating better controls and staff education

9.Responsible and accountable for Retail Showrooms/Outlets, their premises, inventory, staff and sales

10.Processes all customer sales orders and monitors their delivery to be accurate and timely

11.Resolves any problems occurring whilst delivery

12.Signing and approving quotations prior to submit to the clients

13.Approving purchase order from clients through fax or emails on the system

14.Monitors and follows-up all A/R related matters, in coordination with the sales representatives

15.Handles the cases of delayed customer payments.

16.Ensures the optimal sales and distribution of each brand by the sales representatives

17.Establishes and maintains good relations with potential and current customers

18.To insure that sales team is providing customers with the adequate product information

19.Conducts periodic market visits to resolve any customer problems

20.Prepares periodic progress reports related to the area sales operations & market coverage

21.Maintains and ensures the proper filing of all sales related documents

22.Coordinates all local purchases needs/requests related to his designated area of responsibility in coordination with Administration Department

23.Developing and creating new warehousing & distribution policies and procedures with concerned department and management

24.Ensures the implementation of the established warehousing & distribution policies and procedures.

25.Supervises and controls, on a daily basis, the distribution and delivery activities from & to warehouse to be accurate and timely.

26.Monitors all warehouse & distribution related tasks like delivery, returned goods, and invoicing

27.Controls and monitors all transactions related to returned merchandise from market

28.Accountable for the warehouses’ inventory and conducting, with Accounts and Internal audit supervision, a semi-annual and annual physical inventory count

29.Monitors and follows-up on the competition prices and sales strategy

30.Responsible for time keeping opening/closing of all staff and premises

31.Ensures that necessary safety, security and insurance measures are undertaken in all times in coordination with Warehouse Manager/In-Charge and Admin Dept.

32.Maintains the cleanness and tidiness of all premises in coordination with Warehouse In-Charge, Retail In-Charge, and Admin.In-Charge

33.Supervise and maintain the good condition of all fixed assets and ensures availability in case of need for replacement in coordination with Admin.Dept

34.Coordinates closely with HR In charge all issues related to his staff affairs to ensure proper service is provided to them.In addition to all related Personnel matters of his staff
