Role Summary/Purpose:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling complex technical imaging products and/or services. This would be a limited to a geographical area, and carries an overlay quota.
Essential Responsibilities Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Representing the company to promote the product and company including at local and international congresses association
• Proper product position with corresponding customer segments
• Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy
• Configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs and requirements
• Compiling lists of prospective customers and sales leads. Follow up as necessary
• Working with account managers and division managers to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities
• Making cold calls to potential customers where required
• Providing pricing strategy and insure pricing compliance for segment opportunities
• Estimating date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules
• Forecasting orders and sales of assigned territory and submit monthly report
• Representing the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company
• May take on additional responsibilities within local area as needed.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region as well as internationally (60% of business week).
