OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE



To ensure the completeness and accuracy of learner data held on the management information system to ensure the timely and accurate production of the College’s funding claim



KEY TASKS



1 To oversee the timely and accurate production of each of the College’s funding claims and upload all required data to the Colleges of Excellence within the required time schedule.



2 Analysis of key performance against key targets, national benchmarks and minimum levels of performance including detailed reporting of performance against funding allocations and learner volumes



3 Responsibility for the maintenance, configuration and development of student record systems in conjunction with the MIS Manager to meet the needs of the institution.



4 Responsible for college enrolment preparations in conjunction with the MIS Manager



5 Processing all COE funding returns



6 Undertake Course costings to ensure programme viability within agreed college structure.



7 Provide advice and guidance to staff on funding and appropriate curriculum structures and assist in the formation of efficient curriculum delivery patterns.



8 Co-ordination of the fee setting procedure and oversee input onto the student record systems and inclusion in college publications



9 Deputise for the MIS Manager in their absence



10 Delivery of training to college staff on all aspects of MIS activity including enrolment and funding.



11 To maintain accurate records of any financial transactions in accordance with the COE, and to make all such records available for audit.
