- Maintains a through out knowledge of the hotel, and adheres to the organization’s policies and standards.

- Manages and maintain hotel network, and hospitality systems included.

- Manages installation, and upgrades of any hardware or software in the hotel.

- Manages IT operations which includes and not limited to troubleshooting network connectivity, installing and maintaining network devices, performs backup and restores, assigning rights and grants access to users, resting passwords, adding, and terminating users’ access.

- Manages financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting and budget review.

- Develops business case justifications and cost -benefit analysis for IT spending.

- Keeps immediate director well informed of activities through a monthly report copied to the hotel’s GM.

- Proposes new ideas.

- Ensures stability and security measures are in place to secure the hotel’s data.

- Manages suppliers, and maintenance contract.

- Performs contingency tests twice a year.

- Manages IT staffing, including recruitment s, supervisions, scheduling, development, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

- He should know the following IT systems: OPERA (for front office), MICRO (F&B), SUN (for accounting).

- Should have German Experience in Hotels
