Budgeting
1. Prepare annual Business Plan of divisions and departments based on detailed analysis of previous, current and forecasted business performance for all countries in coordination with Divisions Heads.
2. Present the financial budgets to Boards and Chief Operating Officer to keep them updated with business performance.
3. Do the required Capex planning.
Business Performance
1. Assess performance results for accuracy and use information to interpret and build models for future performance.
2. Assist Divisions Heads and Chief Operating Officer to identify critical success factors and the Key Performance Indicators for the business.
3. Review and report budgets against performance periodically against set KPI`s.
4. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
1. Provide the financial reporting, forecasting and planning (such as brand, shops and countries profitability and costs…etc) to the Boards, Chief Operating Officer, Divisions Heads and Chief Financial Officer that contribute the business decision-making process.
2. Prepare due diligence report for big shops / brands as well as all required analyses acquisitions in alignment with Controller-Financial Planning & Analysis.
3. Illustrate results, trends or conditions which impact profitability.
Cash Flow Management
1. Establish and maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures, and ensure that cash resources are available for daily operations business and product development.
Treasury
1. Keep exploring potential opportunities to reduce financial cost
2. Negotiate for a better bank charges, fees and interests rate for all type of banking services.
3. Confirm availability of maximum insurance levels for the import L/Cs and L/Gs and that will not conflict with the flexibility of shipment requirements.
4. Explore and renew banking facilities related to banking requirements needed for the operational activities.
5. Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations, payments, collections and payroll are done and are properly filed with schedules.
6. Ensure that policies and procedures are implemented properly to systematize processes in conjunction with Human Resources Director.
7. Manage the fund position of all the companies in the region and see that the funds are transferred to the main banks in coordination with Controller-Finance & Accounts for all entries.
Audit
1. Liaise with Audit Manager to set the plan for annual audit (internally and externally) and adhere to finance team to get prepared.
