Reed Specialist Recruitment's partner is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer in Doha, Qatar. It is an exciting job opportunity and a chance to be part of a growing organization.

The Engineer will be involved in primarily implementing and supporting a range of buy-side Front Office, Capital Markets and Risks system. This is a hands-on role and the individual will be responsible for enhancing and supporting the system, with general responsibility for on-going technical progression and support of other existing investment systems whether it be strategic or tactical within the IMS department.

Responsibilities:

• L2L3 Support in all areas relating to the implementation and management of the Front Office and Risk systems.

• Primary support contact for all matters relating to the system, internally and external.

• Document workflow and dashboard configuration and apply configuration changes.

• Document, Monitor and support system batch processes.

• Develop and maintain system interfaces: Bloomberg Data Licence (batch), Bloomberg Server API (real time), Omgeo CTM, MarkitSERV, Eagle STAR accounting platform and SharePoint.

• Document business requirements when appropriate.

• Participate in platform upgrades and the roll-out of enhancements such as new instrument types.

• Conduct front line testing prior to user testing.

• Assist with other IMS project areas.
