Install, operate, maintain and support the hardware and software in the Data Centre and provide Operations service within and outside the Group in order to maintain uninterrupted service and agreed service levels.

Provide first level systems support for round-the-clock information transfer, storage, and processing in a timely and efficient manner meeting the agreed service levels.

Implement checklists, procedures and policies to ensure that operational activities have been executed according to priorities in a timely and efficient manner.

Provides Help desk cover outside the normal office hours in order to provide round-the-clock help desk support.

Execute system shutdowns for maintenance and upgrades in co-ordination with SAP basis team, network, server, and administration and Real estate teams to ensure minimal disruption.

Co-ordinate with support staff and vendors in order to ensure uptime is maximized and the best services from vendors can be obtained.

Comply with Data Centre policies and procedures.

Monitor the data center environment for any inadequacies in power, cooling,

Communicate with internal and external clients on a day to day basis to provide data center and systems support services.

Implement systems and data security in all data centers in line with policies and guidelines established by Chief Information Security Officer so as reduce exposure to downtime risks.

Provide adequate cover in each shift by following the shift roster, annual leave plans and contingency action plans.
