Aware of schedule/roster well in advance of its published date and maintain correct time keeping practices.

Follow and enforce all relevant Hotel and departmental policies.

Facility upkeep and maintenance management.

Travel as required to off-site events and locations.

Participates in regular meetings of the Security section.

Is fully conversant with all emergency procedures of the hotel and the compounds.

Uses the logbook for day to day operations and follows up on all tasks.

Ensures together with the team that the security of the hotel premises and employee facilities is guaranteed 24/7.

Coordinates with outside police agencies in the investigation and handling of crimes, accidents, etc., involving the hotel, its employees and guests in coordination with the Security Superintendent.

Prepares incident reports.

Ensures that all incidents and issues are recorded and properly followed up on.

Is fully responsible for all equipment entrusted to him and his team and that it is kept in perfect working condition at all times.

Mans the command centre when scheduled.

Adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures.

Mans the security post at the Employee compounds when scheduled.

Patrols around the hotel premises and in the employee compounds when scheduled.

Carries out other duties that may from time to time be assigned to him by his superiors.

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Obtains help by sounding alarms.

Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

Controls traffic by directing drivers.

Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
