About This Job:

This role is for a candidate with significant Experience in Marketing and sales of Drill Bits to be a part of the Drill Bits Business Development Team in Baker Hughes Qatar.



Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:



Develops and maintains customer relationships with smaller accounts and less complex products/services.

Sells products and services to existing or new customers.

Prepares/recommends and implements sales strategy that may involve: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, proposing, closing, installing, maintaining post-sale customer service, retention, account development strategies, balanced juggling of activity to generate revenue growth amongst existing and new prospective clients.

Visits customers with sales and engineering representatives to deliver technical presentations.

Forecasts activity, sales orders and inventory requirements for assigned accounts.

Identifies and monitors competitor's activities.

Identifies/recommends strategic sales direction.

Develops and delivers sales presentation; conducts consultative meetings with customers; participates in ensuring that technical and service requirements are met.

Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.

Usually calls at rig site.

Handles special projects, as assigned.

Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.Essential Qualifications / Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Petroleum preferred.

4 - 7 years’ experience in Drill Bit sales related field.

Broad technical knowledge of company's products and services and customer requirements..

Good negotiating skills.

Have sales experience in Drill Bits, Down hole tools or Drilling Services.Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:



Ability to build strong relationships across many cultures.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Prior experience in using effective networking and negotiation techniques.Company overview:
