We are looking for Structural Manager/Project Manager for a leading contractor based in Dubai who will be responsible to oversee the team to build new freehold development of 1000+ villas.



Oversee and manage the site team ensuring project targets are met with regards to program and budget.

Manage and co-ordinate site resources for each project ensuring project requirements are fulfilled.

Actively participate in weekly project review meetings.

Manage all technical aspects of company projects including in-house and sub-contracted work

Prepare and finalize structural analysis and load calculations for various structures

Ensure optimum materials are specified in order to maximize savings without losing function and quality.

Maintain quality and accuracy of technical submittals

Considering the strength of various materials, e.g. concrete, steel and brick, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design

Liaising with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.

Examining structures at risk of collapse and advising how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire structure.

Liaising with construction contractors to ensure that newly erected buildings are structurally sound;

Applying expert knowledge of the forces that act on various structures.

Responsible for the co-ordination and successful planning, scheduling and handover of the project
