The subject Position is for our Client which is a part of ADNOC Group. Work location will be Das Island in Abu Dhabi



Purpose & Scope: Identify and assess the environmental aspects in plant & Operations, develop the techniques and procedures for measuring the environmental discharges, analyze the data and report environmental performance on daily, monthly and annual basis. Identify the reason whenver there is a deviation and advice remedial measures and the significance of non compliance. Assist in the implementation of Environment Management System as per 'ADNOC Code of Practice'



Main Duties:

1.On day to day basis, EE will measure, analyze, monitor and report environmental discharges from the plant namely flaring, emissions, liquid effluents & wastes



2.Will interact with plant operators, supervisors and managers for data reconciliation and advice changes to fulfil the procedures and regulatory norms.



3.Will be able to understand the impact of operational or process changes over the environmental performances of the plant and provide inputs/ measures for improvement.



4.To coordinate with environmental consultants for conducting EIA study, Field data assessment, stack emissions and ambient air quality monitoring, Leak Detection and Repair program etc. This will include preparation of work scope, tender evaluation and monitoring the work progress and evaluation of final report.



5.Develop audit schedule and conduct environmental auditing. Provide expert advice on audit findings, and prepare/ follow up action plans.



6.Conduct statistical analysis of the performance data, develop key performance indicators and forecast future projections.



7.Will routinely participate in HAZID, ENVID, Environmental risk assessment activities involving any major change in plant operation, new project or modification scheme.



8.Will provide expert advice on managing hazardous and other wastes and will also act as a focal point for disposal of wastes which will include coordination with various agencies, internal and external.



9.Will review the environmental procedures on waste management & emissions and do necessary modification when necessary.



10.Will coordinate the sampling and analysis of water and effluents and assist in the interpretation of results.
