Demonstrates competence in the provision of basic patient care as specified by the country’s licensing authority to practice
Specific responsibilities:
1) Assist the Physicians for the procedures in the OPD as appropriate.
2)Assist the patients in case of admission by accompanying them to complete the admission procedures (PAD /Insurance etc. ) .
3)Check the working condition of the equipments and report to the Dental Nurse In charge.
4)Provide health education and daily needs of individuals or groups.
5)Provide nursing care to the patients whose health condition is stable and uncomplicated within own scope of practice.
6)Provide nursing care as delegated by a registered nurse.
7) Accountability and responsibility for own nursing actions and omissions within the relevant legal and ethical parameters of practice.
8)Practice in accordance with the standards and ethical code set by the nursing profession and organization.
9)Participate in self professional development
Educational Qualification: Bachelors in Nursing
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in the dental department
License required : DHA
