Provide logistical and reporting support to Superintendent Maintenance to plan and develop maintenance initiatives to ensure that department and corporate goals are met in an efficient and cost effective manner.

The primary focus of the position is internal in the provision of resources and information that will assist in optimizing the performance of the department and ensure that all preventative maintenance schedules are in place and loaded into SAP as well as making arrangements for any larger engineering projects within the section which may be executed by the Engineering function, external contractors or the Maintenance Services department. This facet to the role, in combination with the jobholder’s budgeting and reporting accountabilities require significant liaison across the organization.



Minimum Qualifications:

University degree in an Engineering discipline (preferably mechanical or electrical).



Minimum Experience:

7 years’ plant maintenance experience with a large industrial or utilities organization.

Some prior budgeting experience.

Experience of defining plant preventative maintenance schedules.

Prior experience in the use of SAP to plan maintenance activities.
