JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:

To assist in the implementation of the Bank wide compliance risk program in order to minimize risk exposures and ensure adherence with regulatory standards.



AREAS Of RESPONSIBILITY:



Policies, Processes & Procedures

Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner .



Day- to-day operations

Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Compliance unit to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures



Compliance Risk

Works closely with the various functions / units and provide them with expert support and advice in implementing the compliance program

Assists in the review and validation process of new products and services to ensure compliance with the regulatory compliance program while providing feedback on the gaps to be addressed and following up on timely implementation of corrective action

Assists in evaluating the various functions’ / units’ compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to the regulatory compliance program

Ensures timely follow-up on issues being raised in SAMA inspections to facilitate timely implementation of corrective action .



Risk Culture

Assists in conducting trainings to enhance awareness of compliance risk management and facilitate the establishment of a compliance risk management culture across the Bank

Supports senior members in promoting a Compliance Risk culture across the Bank



Compliance Reporting

Assists in the preparation all compliance reports and ensure they meet Riyad Bank requirements, policies and standards

 Assists in the development of templates, forms in the Compliance unit



Compliance Research

Keeps abreast of the developments in the fields of compliance; taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement .



Administration and Logistics support

 Provides general administration and logistics support to the unit



Safety, Quality & Environment

Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
