A leading global company is urgently seeking to recruit a Procurement Coordinator
Overall Job Purpose / Role
• As part of the dynamic regional Procurement Management team, the key responsibilities include day-to-day operations in the areas of forecasting/purchasing and coordinating between customer’s requirement and factory shipping schedule.
• Contribute to achieving company sales and profit targets
• Actively follow all Company guidelines.
• Actively work independent as a team member with the concerned department peers and the rest of the organization
Key Activities and Responsibilities
• Conduct Forecast Meeting with Sales/Marketing team and analyze the demand for products
•
• Issue Forecast Meeting Report to the factory to support factory decision on their production plan.
• Manage purchase plan on a weekly basis for each products reviewing the sales trend, actual customer orders on hand and the stock level.
• Daily coordination between Sales/Marketing team and factory on delivery schedule and potential/project update.
• Manage purchase plan to keep appropriate stock level depending on the nature of each products and to avoid slow moving stock.
• Close communication with logistics members on all logistical functions, as well as liaise closely with internal customers to ensure prompt receipt of stock and stock availability etc.
• Consolidation of purchasing statistics and preparation of demand forecasts and other reports assigned.
