-Sets the department’s long and short term objectives, communicates them to the subordinates, and ensures high quality achievement of the goals in a cost effective and timely manner.
-Develops department’s policies and procedures related to sales activities that ensure a standardized efficient and effective flow of operations.
-Supervises the activities of subordinates to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with the company’s approved policies and procedures.
-Selects, trains, motivates, evaluates and develops the department’s personnel to ensure the achievement of company’s objectives.
-Plans, develops a comprehensive Sales strategy encompassing all aspects of Sales Management, and participates in business planning and company’s strategy formulation.
-Develops annual Sales business plans, budgets and sales forecasts in accordance with CIC overall strategies and directions.
-Develops and communicates action plans and schedules to identify specific targets of each division.
-Develops, maintains and ensures the compliance of the Sales strategies, Targets, Sales Quotas, policies and procedures, and submits any changes to the CEO for approval.
-Establishes overall performance standards, sales targets, sales growth rates to meet company and departmental goals and sets critical success factors related to sales decisions.
-Coordinates with the Marketing Manager regarding to market demand and supply trends, sets appropriate techniques and sales tactics according to these results.
-Identifies potential markets such as new businesses, wholesalers, retailers, Free zones, and governments and work on expanding CIC market share.
-Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of Sales practices, Distributions channels, sales terms and allowances and other terms related to sales activities.
-Develops and maintains opportunities for fleet sales and builds up relationships with fleet buyers, Free zone and used cars sales traders.
-Monitors and recommends to developing best possible proposals to meet tender requirements and win tender sales.
-Supports and motivates Sales managers through developing incentive programs to ensure meeting sales targets.
-Directly manages major and critical client accounts, in coordination with the concerned Parties.
-Ensures that sales managers follow up on ordering and delivering of cars and that customer are updated with the progress/status.
-Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
-Monitors areas of weakness of tenders’ preparation, submitted governmental offers, after- sales customers return and develops mechanisms that enhance the overall performance of the department.
-Monitors and controls annual allocated budget by optimizing costs, controlling expenditures, and reporting variances versus budget, to ensure effective cost management.
-Conducts annual performance appraisals to review sales Managers’ performance, recommends salary increases, rewards and promotions, and carry out disciplinary meetings when needed.
-Follows up on all issues related to percentages of used cars sales, exchange and any other related issues.
-Follows up and monitors the accomplishments of sales retail and sales targets, identifies the variance and recommends accordingly.
-Analyzes sales statistics and determines business growth potential.
-Represents the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
-Meets with key customers and ensures that all sales members adhered to customers satisfaction and their requirements.
-Monitors the performance of the show rooms and provides the feedback to the sales retail manager.
